Our Denny's Is NOT Always Open!

With great anticipation by a huge crowd of folks who fondly remember the old Denny's on Western, the new Denny's opened this past Sunday.

This time, Western Avenue travelers will see the new restaurant sitting just inside Rancho Palos Verdes.

Our new Denny's will be open 24 hours a day on Fridays and Saturdays. For the other days of the week and Sunday, Denny's will close at 11:00 PM.

This is not really a shock to me and there is no "Always Open" sign on the outside of our new Denny's.

Now here is some trivia. The corporation that operates well over 600 "7-11' stores in their Southern California territory have 4, that's right FOUR "7-11" stores that are not allowed to remain open 24 hours a day.

2, TWO of those affected stores are the two that are in Rancho Palos Verdes.

I don't think that the cities of Rolling Hills and Palos Verdes Estates even have a fast food restaurant like our Jack in the Box and a few others.

I guess cities on The Hill pride themselves for being very different from other South Bay cities.
