Lost Dog

Our Cookie decided to take an extended stroll while I was unloading wood from my car and now she is lost.

She will be 16 year's old in November and it almost completely deaf.

She also has cataracts in both eyes.

She has had a wonderful life so far and it would be sad if she suffers on her walkabout in her very old age.

If you happen to see her, please give us a call.

When my side gate is open, she goes out and inspects the front yard from time to time. This time she probably went to the front door and found it closed and either forgot or didn't bother to see that the side gate was open.

She has only been on one other adventure by herself and that was a few months ago and then we found her quickly.

This time we scoured the neighborhood and went after leads including one that may have had her get to the other side of Western Avenue and down into Peck Park.

She may be hanging out in the Mira Vista neighborhood if she really didn't cross Western.

Hopefully a wonderful Rancho Palos Verdes resident will take her to the pound or call us. A wonderful San Pedro resident would also be quite helpful if they found Cookie.

She has her habits and she has trained us well and I don't think she wishes to train another set of 'parents' at this late stage in her life.

Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.

Mark and Terri.

  1. Mark,
I am so sorry to hear this. I do drive around this area quite a bit and will keep my eyes open.
