This should be an important event for everyone living on the east side of The Hill or anyone who needs to get head east off of The Hill and/or get to and from the 110 freeway.
Although it would take an earthquake of an estimated 7.6 magnitude to break one or both tanks, there are other factors that could lead to the failure of one tank followed quickly by the failure of the other tank.
If either tank goes, the other one would quickly fail and the results could see the joining in of the refinery very near the tanks current location.
The sky is not falling but promises have fallen on deaf and dead actions by the companies responsible for the tanks.
At least is could get your mind off of Measure P, The Marymount plan for a wee bit of time.
