I found and was able to stomach the Yes on Measure P, The Marymount Plan site.
The video appears to be the same one as the DVD sent to registered voters in R.P.V. during the petition drive.
As expected, at least four individuals tauted their years in R.P.V. four responded that they had "45 years", "35 years", "31 years", and "26 years".
If folks want their credibility based on the longevity of having lived in or have close family members now living withing Rancho Palos Verdes, here is my longevity,
As of today, 55 years, 3 months and 30 days. I guess I win!
But longevity is really not a part of true credibility or its establishment and everyone should dismiss longevity as a means to support or oppose The Marymount Plan.
After all, all of those viewed on the video lose out to me.
Anyway, the Web site continues to reveal that The Marymount Plan seeks to have approvals for everything that has already been put up for a vote and approved.
Naturally it adds on-campus housing, but as always, there continues to be not one supporter viewed in any video or commenting through printed word any real reason dorms are so important for Marymount to have on its campus.
Whenever safety or less traffic is tauted, I have quite a bit of truthful information that blows those claims so far out of the water that you can see the splash on the other side of Catalina. (Just joking!)
I hope the judge who hears oral arguments involving the two lawsuits will offer his opinion that could put an end to the misstatements and misleading information that has not been denied by any representative of Marymount, including the college's President.
If you wish to view the Yes On Measure P, The Marymount Plan site, you are welcome to look it up yourself because I don't feel I need to remind folks of the 'hash' being slung by whoever created the site. ( Or is it whomever?)
But who did create the site? And who wrote the "Myths vs Facts" site? I can't tell you because nobody had the courage to identify himself or herself as the author of either sets of information or misinformation.
I guess somebody is not proud of accepting money for spinning yarns and falsehoods about the truths behind The Marymount Plan. Or perhaps they were created by the member of the Board of Trustees who also works in a P.R. firm.
Maybe I will identify the Board member who works in the P.R. firm as the alleged author of the sites. As long as Marymount's representatives are unwilling to provide factual information to identify persons who are doing the bidding of other Marymount representatives, why should anyone expect that someone won't be identified as a possible author or Web site creator and publisher?
One truth is perfectly clear, the more Marymount tries to use attempting to sway potential voters to support Measure P, the more 'ammunition' is created for me to use and that 'ammunitition' is coming from the very same folks who will get it shot right back to them, using real facts, the truth, and assertions that have, as yet, not been denied by President Michael Brophy, PhD..
